Broadbent & Associates, Inc. is more than an environmental consulting company operating throughout California, Nevada, Texas, and other neighboring states. We also strive to be part of our communities through volunteerism and financial donations to grassroots non-profit organizations such as the Alpine Watershed Group.

Broadbent is proud to have served as one of the primary sponsors for the 17th Annual Markleeville Creek Day held on September 9, 2016 and organized by the Alpine Watershed Group. Broadbent employees and their family members volunteered to complete restoration projects that help improve the overall health of watersheds in Alpine County, California. Volunteer activities included removal of invasive plants; planting of willow stakes, potted willows, and cottonwood plants; and slope seeding and bank stabilization with jute matting. The Markleeville Creek Day was a huge success with more than 85 volunteers in attendance.

For close to a decade Broadbent has provided acid drainage (AD) operation, maintenance, and monitoring (OM&M) services at a former sulfur mine located within Alpine County, California. The 2016 Markleeville Creek Day was a great opportunity for Broadbent and their employees to give back to a community where we both live and work. To learn more about the Alpine Watershed Group visit their web page at http://www.alpinewatershedgroup.org/ or like Alpine Watershed Group on Facebook.
