Real Estate & Land Development Services
Broadbent has been providing a full suite of professional services to the real estate and land development industry since our inception, in 1987. The primary focus has been environmental assessments and assisting clients with commercial and residential developments. This experience includes conduct of thousands of Phase I and Phase II due diligence environmental site assessment investigations for a broad range of clientele (banks, developers, casinos, major oil companies, real estate brokers, mining companies, government agencies, etc.).
Phase I ESAs are conducted under the All Appropriate Inquiries Rule (40 CFR Part 312) established by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the ASTM Standard E 1527-05. Our Phase II ESAs utilize a variety of soil and groundwater characterization methods including modeling, geophysics, geochemistry, drilling (sonic, hollow-stem auger, air rotary, ODEX, GeoProbe™, hydro-punch, hand auger), soil gas surveys, and soil excavation, where applicable. Phase II activities will often include development of a detailed Site Conceptual Model and/or pilot testing for determining the most cost effective means of remediation.
Broadbent’s staff of civil engineers, CAD technicians, designers, and drafters enables us to provide a wide range of civil and land development services for both existing and proposed projects.
