Mr. Guerrant has more than 28 years of experience covering a wide range of hydrogeologic applications including environmental, water resource, and mining issues. Mr. Guerrant has been with Broadbent since 1991 where he currently serves as President, Board Chairman, and Principal Hydrogeologist. His current responsibilities include oversight of six corporate divisions/offices, management of numerous client relationships, and Program Management for several major Contracts and/or Master Services Agreements. As such, Mr. Guerrant has extensive experience managing offices, staff, clientele, contracts, budgeting, accounting, and scheduling for all aspects of corporate divisions and significant contracts. Additionally, he has a strong background in safety and is intimately involved with Broadbent’s rigorous Corporate Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) program, both in terms of its development and management.

Mr. Guerrant holds a B.S. degree in Geology from California State University, Humboldt (1983), and M.S. degree in Hydrology/ Hydrogeology from University of Nevada, Reno (1989). He is a Professional Geologist and Certified Hydrogeologist in California; Registered/Professional Geologist in Idaho, Oregon, and Wyoming; and a Certified Environmental Manager in Nevada. He is currently a member of the National Ground Water Association and has served on the Board of Directors of the Nevada Water Resources Association. Additionally, he has served as Club President and served many years on the Board of Directors (in various capacities) for the Rotary Club of Reno South.

Mr. Guerrant’s specific technical/project experience includes: Phase I & II environmental assessments; soil/groundwater contaminant assessment, characterization and remediation; hydrogeologic assessments; groundwater flow and solute transport modeling; conjunctive use and groundwater recharge analysis; detailed mass balance water budget analyses; water quality studies; water well exploration, design, construction, and development; water rights investigations; and percipient and expert witness testimony.
